This test is recommended for pregnant women in order to screen for gestational diabetes. This test may be usually recommended between the 24 and 28th week of pregnancy.

Fasting is not required.

First drink 50-gram oral glucose or 75-gram oral glucose (as per the doctor or prescription) in 250-300 ml water.

Sample collection will be done 1-hour post glucose intake.
